Act as the main interface for coordination and communication at the engineering/working level for global testing activities between European, North American, and Asian regional functional testing teams
Co-Lead the release and performance testing and validation for forward-facing camera systems, at the component, function, and feature levels

Senior Testing and Safety Engineer
Responsibilities
Developed a global safety policy specifically for the testing and development of automated driving systems as Committee Leader, coordinating efforts within the group of roughly 9 contributing stakeholders from various business units, projects, and companies
Planned a six-week data collection phase, coordinating personnel and equipment across multiple continents and companies, to acquire the specified data portfolio required to influence and inform project/company decision-makers prior to a major project milestone
One of the five initial members of the Automated Truck R&D Center within Daimler Truck AG, with responsibilities including part procurement, truck buildup, measurement system setup, team/test-driver training, data collection, and resource logistics

I was approached with the opportunity to return to Germany to work as an Expatriate within Daimler Truck in my former department. At the time, I knew I wanted to work internationally again, and after a lot of wrestling with the decision, the presented opportunity was too auspicious to pass up.

Responsibilities
Led a team of 9 engineers to plan and execute the project scope, logistics, inter-departmental coordination, and functional testing of the largest release-testing workshop in department history
Tested and validated forward-facing camera systems within the NAFTA region to enhance global driver assistance system development
Investigated and secured the local application and installation of a globally-developed measurement system through international internal company coordination

In the first quarter of 2018 I was informed that I was selected by a committee of Engineering Executives to become one of the first five members of the Automated Truck Research & Development Center. The transition period from this role to the next was brief, as this project quickly became the most prominent project within the company.
